Jack Baker, 81, of Hereford died Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rose Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bozeman officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Baker was born in Denton County and moved to Hereford in 1912 from Denton. He was a farmer and owned a grocery store. He was married to Ruby Moreman in 1962 in Alamogordo, N.M.
Surivors [sic] include his wife; two sons, Beale of San Francisco, Calif.; and T.J. of San Antonio; a daughter, Audrey Prestridge of Las Cruces, N.M.; three brothers, Cecil of Las Cruces, Bob of Stockton, Calif.; and Clarence of Marysville, Calif.; a sister, Sue Carlisle of Carson City, Nev.; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hereford Senior Citizens.
