HEREFORD - Jesus "El Jesse" Longoria Balderaz, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.
Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. today in Good News Church in Hereford with the Rev. David Alvarado, pastor and son-in-law, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Jesus was born April 10, 1924, in Comfort to Domingo and Delfina Longoria Balderaz. He married the love of his life, Elida Rodriguez Balderaz, on Aug. 12, 1944, in Sterling City.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Olivia Rodriguez of Amarillo and Elvira Alvarado of Hereford; three sons, Aldolf "Guy" Baldarez of Hereford, Roy Baldarez and Benny Baldarez, both of San Angelo; two brothers, John Baldarez of Hereford and Fidencio Baldarez of Monihans; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Good News Church, 621 E. 15th St., Hereford, TX 79045.
