James T. Matthews' Obit:
DIED AT FOLLETT, TEXAS
Dr. James T. MATTHEWS seventy-two year old, a former physician of Wathena, Kansas, died yesterday at Follett, Texas, according to word received in St. Joseph. Doctor MATTHEWS practiced in Wathena for twenty-five years and retired two years ago, removing to Texas. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Bessie LEWIS, Follett; Mrs. Grace DUBACH, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Susie PROTER, Higgins, Texas; three sons, Elmer MATTHEWS, St. Joseph; John MATTHEWS, Wathena, and Charles MATTHEWS, Follett; and two sisters, Mrs. Lottie SHEARER and Mrs. Elizabeth SUTHARD, Los Angeles.
