L.B. Moore, 86, of Lubbock, died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at University Medical Center.
Services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Slaton. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Visitation will be today from 1 until 4 p.m. at Ossie Curry Funeral Home Chapel in Lubbock.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sons and one daughter, Robert (Jackie) Moore, Lonnie, Jesse Ray and Melvin, all of Lubbock, and La Vern Pinkston of Slaton; one sister, Mozell Bailey of Cameron. He also leaves three nephews; five nieces; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, three sister-in-laws, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and one son, L.B. Moore, Jr.
