Celebration of life for Joyce Anne Bullard, 83, of Lamesa will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church with Terrell O'Brien officiating. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on June 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. Joyce passed away June 20, 2017 in Lamesa, Texas.

She was born February 10, 1934 in Lynn County, Texas to Robert and Mable (Israel) Weatherby. She came to Dawson County in 1950. She married Victor Gay Bullard August 14, 1954 in Lovington, New Mexico. She was a caregiver all of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful follower of Christ. She was a member of Second Baptist Church for many years.

Joyce is survived by her children, Vickie O'Brien and husband, Terrell of Fort Davis and Stanley Bullard of Lamesa; grandchildren, Tammi Eason and husband, Justin, Melissa Milner, and husband Josh, David O'Brien and wife, April and L'Rona O'Brien; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lee Claborn of Post, Betty Kathryn Slone of Tahoka and Vera Faye Fairweather of Lamesa. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandson, Michael O'Brien on March 2017. Family suggests memorials to Medical Arts Hospice 1512 N. Bryan, Lamesa, TX 79331.
