Services for Bertha Crownover Nelson, 84, of Post will be at 4 p.m. today in Englunds Chapel with the Rev. Cleve Kerby officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
She died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, in University Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 27, 1914, in Hughes, Okla. She attended school at Antlers School. She married Robert Nelson on June 2, 1937, at Antlers. They moved to Wellman in 1949, then to Lynn County in 1952 before moving to Slaton in 1987. He died Oct. 17, 1990. She has been a resident of Post since 1998.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Olen in 1975 and Bob in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie of Fort Worth and Virgil of Slaton; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
