Services for Faye Payton-Wardlow, 80, of Post will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Kenneth Winchester officiating and Keith Cooper assisting.

Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home of Post.

She died Thursday, May 10, 2001, in Lubbock.

She was born Nov. 23, 1920, in Plainview, N.M., and married Carl Payton on March 17, 1940. He died Dec. 7, 1968. She married T.J. Wardlow in 1996 in Post. She was an active member of the Garza County Home Demonstration Club.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Linda Kenney of VanCleave, Miss., and Janice Waters of San Benito; three sons, J.W. Payton of Post, Jeral Wardlow of Richardson and Michael Wardlow of Houston; a sister, Evelyn Payton of Harrah, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
