Services for Verlyn Owens, 72, of Slaton will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Westside Church of Christ with Terry Newton, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
She died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, in St. Mary Hospital.
She was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Slaton. She attended Slaton schools. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sisters, Norma Faye Martin of Slaton and Wanda Y. Owen of Sweetwater; two brothers, Charles F. Owens of Detroit and Carl E. Leavelle of Stafford, Kan.
