Husband of Lila Marie Carter Payton
Services for Henry Payton, 73, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Chapel of Angels with Jackie White officiating.
Burial will be in East Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.
Payton died Thursday, April 8, 1999, in St. Mary Hospital.
He was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Slaton. He married Lila-Marie Carter on Jan. 8, 1976, in Lubbock. He was a Mason and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He won the Big Buck Award.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and Ricky; four daughters, Angelia Lee, Toni Butts, Terri McInnes and Traci Roberts; two brothers; and three sisters.
