Anastacia Barrerra, 67, of Hereford died Wednesday, July 13 in Hinton, Okla.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Darryl Birkenfield, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in West Park Cemetery under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Barrera moved to Hereford in 1989 from Liberal, Kan. She married Francisco Barrera in Los Guerras Tampo, Mexico, in 1950. He died in 1959. She was a housewife and a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Francisco Barrera Jr. of Uvalde, and Antonio Barrera and Fortino Garza, both of Hereford; a daughter, Elsa Perales of Hereford; three brothers, Rodolfo Martinez and Jose Luz Martinez, both of San Juan, Texas, and Ezquiel Cantu of Preamont; two sisters, Luz Alma Hinojosa and Dora Martinez, both of San Juan; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Family members will be pallbearers.
