Services for Susie Parker, 95, of Slaton will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. C.C. Peoples officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Lubbock.
She was born July 24, 1904, in Montgomery. She married Charlie Parker in 1921 in Slaton. He died in 1981.
She moved to Slaton 70 years ago from Montgomery. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she was honored as the church's woman of the year and carried the distinction of being the church's oldest member. She also belonged to the Senior Mission, Court of Corinthians Lodge.
