Rites Are Set Saturday For Jewel Barry

Services for Jewel Lee Barry, 82, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home in Hereford.

Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barry, a native of Parker County, died at noon Thursday in Parmer County Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She married Ellis Barry in 1938 in El Paso, and they farmed east of Bovina until moving to Friona at retirement.

Survivors include her husband; and two brothers, Sam Sides of Hereford and David Sides of Marble Falls.
