Rosary for Ray Pequeno Jr., 45, of Lubbock will be at 7 p.m. today in Englunds Chapel with the Rev. Jim O'Conner officiating.
Mass will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock with the Rev. Jim O'Conner officiating.
Burial will be at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
He died Friday, March 23, 2001.
He was born April 28, 1955, in Slaton and graduated from Slaton High School in 1974. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Lubbock and retired in August 2000. He was on active duty for four years with the U.S. Army, was a veteran of Desert Storm and retired from the U.S. Army Reserves in 1995. He was a member of the Letter Carriers NALC/AFL-CIO and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife, Annette of Lubbock; three sons, Chris, Matt and Lucas, all of Lubbock; his parents, Ray Sr. and Rosa Pequeno of Slaton; his maternal grandmother, Josephine Pequeno of Slaton; and two sisters, Delma Pequeno of Austin and Lisa Gallardo of Slaton.
