Jacia Bintz, 48, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Andrews, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at Southwest Regional Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, Texas after a long illness.
Services for Jacia Bintz, 48, of Lubbock, formerly of Andrews, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews, Texas with Rev. Jimmie Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews Old Cemetery under direction of McNett Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at McNett Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born September 18, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ. She married Jim Bintz on November 18, 1985 in Andrews, TX. Jacia was owner of Bintz Enterprises in Andrews & Lubbock, TX. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends. Her love for traveling and playing computer and word games were evident among everyone. She also had a passion for decorating. Jacia had a great heart that was known to many but most of all was the love she had for her grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by, husband, Jim Bintz in 2008.
She is survived by, daughter, Cassandra Bintz Tercero and husband, Daniel of Lubbock, TX; son, Ricky Bintz of Midland, TX; Godson, Sky Wheat and wife, Princess of Lubbock, TX; mother, Harlene Bledsaw of Lubbock, TX; father, Ed Greene and wife, Patricia of Andrews, TX; "Mom", Colleene Rountree of Andrews, TX; three sisters, Julie Wheat and husband, Bill of Comanche OK, Sherri Childers and husband, Rob of Lubbock, TX, Dalene Garrett and husband, Greg of Duncan, OK; her forever friend, Julie 2 (McEwin) Hazen Moore, OK; two granddaughters, Emeri Tercero and Rylee Tercero of Lubbock, TX and several beloved nieces and nephews.
