Dr. Bruce Beene
HEREFORD - Funeral services for Dr. Bruce Beene, 41, a lifetime Hereford resident, were held this morning in the First Christian Church. The Rev. Eugene Brink, pastor, officiated.
Burial was in West Park Cemetery by Gililland Funeral Home.
Dr. Beene died Sunday night in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. He had undergone surgery recently for removal of a benign brain tumor.
He was a general practitioner and the immediate past president of the Hereford Medical Clinic which he joined in 1958.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara, a son, a daughter and four brothers.
