HEREFORD - Juan Beltran Jr., 81, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Iglesia Catolica De San Jose. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Beltran was born Dec. 27, 1923, in Odem, the son of Antonia and Juan Beltran Sr. He married Aurora Villarreal on May 28, 1941, in Odem. Mr. Beltran was a self-employed truck driver for more than 50 years.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Walter Beltran of Amarillo, Rudy Beltran of Winters, Danny Beltran of Pampa and Nicky Beltran, Richard Beltran and Johnny Beltran III, all of Hereford; four daughters, Debbie Patrick of Plainview and Connie Martin, Eva Mendoza and Janie Beltran, all of Hereford; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

HEREFORD -- Funeral services for Juan Beltran Jr., 81, of Hereford, father of Debbie Patrick of Plainview, were at 2 p.m. today in Iglesia Catolica De San Jose. Burial was in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Beltran died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005.

Mass of Christian Burial for Aurora Beltran, 93, a long-time Hereford resident, will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Iglesia de San Jose, with the Reverend Jose Ramon Molina, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow at West Park Cemetery. A prayer vigil will be read at Parkside Chapel, Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. Mrs. Beltran passed into the next life Saturday, March 10, 2018.

Aurora Villarreal was born October 7, 1924 in Odem, Texas to Severino and Altagracia Benavidez Villarreal. She married Juan Beltran in Odem, Texas. They moved to Hereford 51 years ago from Levelland. Mrs. Beltran worked for Hereford Independent School District as a cafeteria worker for twenty years. She was an awesome daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Aurora was an awesome cook and was well known, and appreciated for her wonderful fruit cakes and fudge that she made from scratch. She was a member of Iglesia de San Jose.

Those mourning her passing are 4 daughters, Eva Mendoza, Connie Martin and husband Jerry, Janie Pena and husband Domingo all of Hereford and Debbie Patrick and husband David of Plainview. 3 sons, Rudy Beltran of Winters, Texas, Walter Beltran of Amarillo, and Richard Beltran and wife Mindey Bevers of Hereford, twenty grandchildren, forty five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren,

Mrs. Beltran was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Juan Beltran, one daughter Molly Coronado, two sons Johnny Beltran and Nicky Beltran and two great –grandchildren, Destanie Hope Ellis and Tristan Terry John Beltran.

The family suggests that memorials in Mrs. Beltrans name be made to Hereford Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels program, 426 Ranger. Hereford, Tx 79045 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn 38105.
