Mr. Hieronimus was born February 18, 1944 in Nacogdoches County, Texas to the late Etta Jewel (McKey) and J.T. Hieronimus. He died Sunday, November 18, 2012 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mr. Hieronimus was the retired co-owner of D-D Plumbing. He was raised in Henderson, Texas, but spent most of his adult life in Lufkin. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing dominoes, and socializing.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Jana and Keith Cole of Fulshear, Texas, and Jeanne and Jeff Dillman of Gainesville, Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley Marcantel and husband Seth, Cody Hieronimus, Patrick Cole, Olivia Dillman and Cole Dillman; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Juanita Hieronimus of Henderson; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye and Cliff Pinckard of Lufkin, Betty Juren of Zavalla, and Hazel Hieronimus of Lufkin; mother of his children, Linda Ramsey of New London, Texas; his beloved dog, Jake; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Hieronimus; father-in-law, Cody Ramsey; nephew, Jerry Browning; and lifelong friends, Don Marze and James Middleton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Cole, Michael Hieronimus, Billy Teague, Charlie Ricks, Alvin Pounders and Ennis Tomez.
