Funeral services for Fred D. Clement, 75, of Lamesa will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Gwen Aldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. Fred passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 in Lamesa.

He was born November 17, 1939 in Lamesa to Roy and Lillian Marie (King) Clement. He married Freida Lynn White April 6, 1958 in Ackerly. They were married 56 years. He worked oilfield his lifetime spending 13 years overseas. The last 8 years overseas he worked in Sudan, Africa as an operations manager for Parker Drilling Company. Fred loved his family and treasured his time spent with them. He was a skilled worker and was talented with his hands.

Fred is survived by his wife, Freida Clement; sons, Kelley Clement and wife, Terry of Lamesa, Keenan Clement and wife, Shelly of Lamesa, and Kevin Clement of Lamesa; sister, Deborah Lester of Lamesa; grandchildren, Toby Clement and wife, Carmen, Kelly Wayne Clement and wife, Sarah, Cody Clement and wife, Ashley, Jodi Clement, Fred Tell Clement and wife, Molly, Jake Clement, Jasper Clement, KD Cortez and husband, Chris, Shelby Whipple and husband, Cutter; step-grandchildren, Bruce Marmolejo; and Chasity Marmolejo; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank Clement, and Ned Clement; and brother-in-law, Billy Lester. The family would like to thank Dr. Chow and Interim Hospice Employee�s from the Brownfield office.
