Funeral Mass for Carlos Ancira Colunga, 68, of Lamesa will be celebrated on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary\u0027s Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Interment will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at Branon Funeral Home on Monday April 7, 2014 and Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Carlos passed away on Saturday April 5, 2014 in Lubbock.
He was born on July 25, 1945 in Orangeville, MI to Jesus and Adelina (Ancira) Colunga. He married Lydia Guerrero on August 7, 1969.
He is survived by his children: Veronica Moreno, Irma Moreno, Delfina Bara and his son-in-law Ralph Garcia and Adelina Colunga and his son-in-law Michael Renteria; sisters, Elida Anguiano and Gloria Perez both of Florida; brother, Juan Colunga of Florida; 15 Grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
