Funeral Mass for Johnny Buhler, age 37 of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held at the church Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 6 to 7 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Buhler was born January 22, 1985 in Lamesa, Texas to Margarita (Penner) and Johan Buhler. He married Liza Flores September 28, 2013 in Seminole, Texas. He was a Catholic and worked as an equipment operator. He enjoyed playing games, bowling, and reading with his boys; he particularly loved reading the Easter story to them. He also enjoyed being with his family and especially his children, and was extremely protective of them and of his younger siblings. Johnny was a car and truck fanatic and in his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball; he even played with a broken shoulder. Johnny was easy to get along with and talk with; he was a fun and loving man.

Johnny Buhler passed away at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas on Monday, March 28, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Liza Buhler of Seminole; three children, Libbie, Jathan, and Jasper, all of the home; his parents, Johan and Margarita Buhler of Seminole; five brothers, Cornelius Buhler and wife Susan, Peter Buhler and wife Anna, Isaac Buhler and wife Susy, and Daniel Buhler, all of Seminole, and Abe Buhler and wife Eva of Seagraves, Texas; and three sisters, Nancy Buhler, Anny Siemens and husband Billy, and Eva Klassen and husband Peter, all of Seminole.
