Bobbye Nevell Emfinger Dennis went to be with her heavenly father February 13, 2021.
She was born June 18th 1929 in Maryneal, Texas. She married Harry Warnick Dennis on September 25, 1946 in Monahans, Texas and they shared 52 wonderful years together before his passing in 1999.
Bobbye was a loving and gentle spirit who dedicated her life to her Lord, husband, family and friends. She enjoyed decorating her home, working in her yard, sharing a cup of coffee with friends, playing 42, and singing gospel songs. Her home was always open to host a game night with friends. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Warnick Dennis; parents, Walter Crofford Emfinger and Connie Cee (McAnally) Emfinger; her daughter, Daun Dennis McLeroy and her husband Kenneth Eugene McLeroy; son, Rickford Wayne Dennis; son-in-law, James Eddie Walls; brother, Billy Richard Emfinger; and two sisters, Monta Sue Emfinger Farrill and Joyce Nell Emfinger Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Phyllis Jackson and husband Tom of Kermit, TX, Madeline Walls of Bull Verde, TX , Elayne Kuenstler and husband Oscar of Yokum, TX, Harry Ryan Dennis of Bullard, TX, and Gregory Zane Dennis and wife Kim of Abilene, TX; sisters, Maxine Garringer of Carlsbad, NM, Marilon Howell and husband Joe of Midland, TX, and Shirrie Cook Myers of Odessa, TX; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and soon to be 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Eastside Church of Christ , where she was a faithful member.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa, TX officiated by Ryan Dennis and Zane Dennis. Pallbearers will include Taw McLeroy, Damon Jackson, Chance McLeroy, Michael Walls, Chad Dennis, Brett Dennis, and Trey Dennis. Honorary pallbearers are the Eastside Church of Christ Elders.

Her family would like to thank all involved in her health care, especially Dr. Leatha Tampke and her nurse, Lucy Eaton. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Eileen Hudson, Sharron Guinn, and Patsy Russell for the care they showed our Mother.
