*Obituary Martha
Services for Martha Ann Duncan, 83, formerly of Lamesa, will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church with Pat Githens officiating. Burial will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.

Martha was born on July 17, 1930, in Maude, Ok to Orville and Roxie Lee Johnson. She passed away peacefully in Lubbock, on February 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by both parents, her twin sister Georgia Ann Moreau, and her dear husband George, to whom she was married to 59 years. She leaves behind her four children: Judy Graham and husband Johnny of Ulm, Arkansas, Jay Duncan and wife Julie of Wolfforth, Texas, Jo Beth Smith and husband Dennis of Lamesa, Texas, Jenna Duncan of Lubbock, Texas.

She had 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who she loved dearly. Martha was a marvelous cook and a devoted homemaker. She loved needle work and was a very talented seamstress. She had a great since of humor which she maintained till the end. She and George were loyal members of Crestview Baptist Church in Lamesa.
