Funeral services for Beulah Easley Johnson, 96, of Lamesa will be held on Monday June 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church with Pat Githens and Charles Empey officiating. Burial will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 17, 2012 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
Beulah passed away on Thursday June 14, 2012 in Lamesa. She was born on December 23, 1915 in Fannin County, Texas to Clarence and Clemmie Lou (Thompson) Sanford. She married Henry J.R. "Jerry" Easley on January 23, 1935 in East Texas. He preceded her in death in February of 1989. She later married Slater Johnson in March of 1990 in Lamesa. He preceded her in death in January of 1994. Beulah was a member at Crestview Baptist Church. She was known as Mamaw to most that knew her.
She is survived by her children, Robin Wiley and husband, Kenneth of Lamesa, and Archie Easley and wife, Nina of Houston; step-daughter, Katherine Anthony and husband, Larry of Levelland; grandchildren, Sheila Sullenbarger and husband, Edwin of Lamesa, Archie Easley Jr. and wife, Barbara of Lamesa, Kessa Easley of Houston, Mark Easley and wife, Debbie of Malvern, Arkansas, Laura Easley of Houston, Jimmy Easley of Houston, Bruce Easley of Houston, Brenda Anderson of Midland, Jerry Anderson and wife, Kim of Tarzan, Jason Wiley of Lamesa, and Kevin Wiley of Lubbock; 16 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Beulah is also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carlene Anderson, sister, Inez Sanford; brothers, Forrest Sanford, Ray Sanford, and Melvin Sanford; and great-grandsons, Joseph Barboza, and Christopher Easley.
Serving as Pallbearers are Jerry Anderson, Mark Easley, Archie Easley Jr., Jason Wiley, Kevin Wiley, and Edwin Sullenbarger.
