A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Esmeralda Enriquez, age 53 of Lamesa, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.

Rosary service is set for Monday, 7:00p.m., September 10, 2013 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.

Esmeralda passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Covnant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on July 3, 1960 at The Labor Camp located just outside the South-East area of Lamesa, Dawson County, Texas. Esmeralda was a homemaker.

Preceded her in death were her parents, Edwardo and Ermelinda Enriquez.

Esmeralda is survived by her son, Felipe Martin Medrano and daughter-in-law, Leslie Medrano of Mansfield, Texas; her daughter, Dolores Medrano of Lamesa, Texas; her sisters, Mary Cardenas of Roma, Texas, Emelda Lopez and Connie Enriquez, both of Lamesa, Texas; her brother, Ernesto Enriquez of Lamesa, Texas; her grandchildren, Michael Torres, Anthony Torres and Maribel Martinez, all of Lamesa, Texas.
