Ed Brisendine, 74, longtime Hereford resident, died Wednesday in Hereford.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Williamson, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery, by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Brisendine was a retired engineer with the Texas Highway Department. Born in Kusa, Okla., he married Naomi Long in 1945 in Lexington, N.C., and they moved to Hereford in 1949. He was a Methodist and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lynn Brisendine of Brownfield, Trent Brisendine of Lubbock, and Mickey Brisendine of Hereford; one daughter, Diann Burns of Salisbury, Md., and nine grandchildren.
The family requests memorials to the First United Methodist Church building fund.
