John Minton “Mitt” Brownlow
December 2, 1873-September 7, 1951

John Minton Brownlow was born to Edward Isaac Brownlow and Ada Abernathy Brownlow in Tennessee.

He was a farmer in Eldorado, Oklahoma, and Hereford, Deaf Smith, Texas, USA.

He was married to Emma Naomi Cumby. They had a large family.

He died instantly on September 7, 1951, with a heart attack.

Emma Naomi Cumbie Brownlow was born to Joe Cumbie and Sarah Wood on October 3, 1874, in Texas. She was the wife of John Minton Brownlow.

She was widowed at the time of her death and had lived in Deaf Smith County, Texas for 11 years. She died from coronary thrombosis.

She was buried in West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
