Obituary E. I. “Buck”
Funeral services for E. I. "Buck" Brownlow, 60, were conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Avenue Baptist Church by the Rev. Clarence Powell, pastor. Mr. Brownlow died Oct. 12, in Philip, S. Dak.
He was born Sept. 7, 1903 in Athens and was married to Miss Fay Russell Aug. 22, 1931, in Altus, Okla. They moved to Hereford in 1938 from Floydada.
Survivors include his wife, 314 Park; two daughters Mrs. Doris Van Meter, MacAdoo, and Mrs. Bobbie Wilson, Faith, S. Dak.; three sons, James, Emory, and Johnny, all o Hereford, five sisters, Mrs. Jewel McNeese,Mrs. Clara Cook, Mrs. Irene Holt, Mrs. Johnny Sanders, all of Hereford, and Mrs. Eula Carmack, Levelland, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Internment was in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gilliland Funeral Home.
