HEREFORD - Guy L. Buck, 64, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.
Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. James Peach, pastor of Frio Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford.
Mr. Buck was born July 14, 1945, in Alton, Ill., to Louis Eugene and Gladys Pauline Lawson Buck. He married Shirley Cates Buck, on Oct. 1, 1965, in Hereford.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Deborah Buck and Laurie Buck McMillan, both of Hereford, and Amy Holly of Lincoln, Neb.; two brothers, Paul Shealor of Hereford and Danny Shealor of Louisiana; two sisters, Anna Mae Rawlings of Lebanon, Mo., and Pat Vopel of Philadelphia, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and his best friend, Gary Patzt.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423.
