Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Rose Chapel for Mrs. Leona Lillian Burleson, 89, of 612 Ave. K. Bob Wear, retired minister of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burleson died Tuesday at 10:55 a.m. in Palmer County Community Hospital in Friona.

Born April 23, 1892 in Georgetown, she married Frank Burleson in 1909 in Lockney. He preceded her in death in 1964. She came to Hereford in 1916 from Lockney, ans was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Joe of Aurora, Leonard of Tooele, Utah, Frank of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Katharyn Stovall and Nina Rob's, both of Denver, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
