Funeral For Mrs. S. H. Carl Set Here Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. C.H. Carl will be held on Thursday, February 5 at the First Baptist church in Hereford at 3 p.m.
Mrs. Carl, who was a long-time resident of Hereford, having come here in 1900, died suddenly at her home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. following a long illness.
Born Rosa Virginia Caraway on September 9, 1874 in Collins county, Texas, she was married to C.H. Carl in Denton on December 5, 1895.
She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Burial will be in West Park cemetery under the direction of the Gililland Funeral home.
Survivors include one son, three daughters, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five brothers.
