ANGLETON - Armando Castillo, 50, formerly of Hereford, died Monday, May 24, 2010.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in La Iglesia de San Jose with the Rev. David Contreras as celebrant. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Castillo was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Quanah to Jesus Castillo and Maria Villarreal Castillo. He loved to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and most of all loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Herrera; his mother; two stepdaughters, Casey Enriquez of Canyon and Trista Enriquez of Angleton; a stepson, Joey Ramirez of Angleton; five brothers, Juan Castillo, Jesus Castillo Jr. and Gilbert Castillo, all of Hereford, and Jose Castillo and Mike Castillo, both of Angleton; eight sisters, Juventina Castillo, Enedelia Zavala, Lisa Gonzales, Gloria Grajeda and Norma Ortiz, all of Hereford, Maria De Jesus Castillo of Houston and Elida Ruiz and Elena Vargas, both of Amarillo; and two granddaughters.
