HEREFORD — Maria De Jesus Castillo, 79, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.
Celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m. today in Iglesia Bautista Fundamental Church, 100 S. Ironwood St., in Hereford with the Rev. Ernest Rodriguez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. Sixth St.
Mrs. Castillo was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Mexico. She was a homemaker and attended Igelsia Bautista Fundamental Church.
Survivors include six sons, Gilberto Lara, Quirino Lara, Refugio Lara and Jaime Lara, all of Hereford, Jesus Lara of Colorado and Margarito Alanis of Mexico; two daughters, Eva Alanis of Wichita Falls and Higinia Alanis of Mexico; 35 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial be to Iglesia Bautista Fundamental Church, 100 S. Ironwood St., Hereford, TX 79045.
