Mrs. Cavanar Is Buried Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Nola Mae Cavanar were held Wednesday afternoonn at 4 p.m. at the Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Harris conducting the service.
After an illness of 18 months, Mrs. Cavanar died June 13 in her home at 312 Avenue H.
Born Feb. 10, 1909, she was married to B.C. Cavanar at Anson, August 31, 1929. In 1947 they came to Hereford from Littlefield. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Interment, under the direction of Gilliland Funeral Home, was made at West Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Donald; two daughters, Elois Porter of Hereford and Jannas Sue Cavanar; seven brothers, Owen Turner of Lake Side, Ore., Wilford Turner of Lubbock, Basel Turner of Littlefield, A.C. Turner of Littlefield, Leo Turner of Abilene, Leon Turner of Hereford and Bill Turner of Hereford; and three grandchildren.
