Funeral services for Logan Coy, 66, will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock in the Methodist Church with Rev. S.M. Dunnam, pastor, officiating and Rev. Don Davidson, pastor of the Levelland Methodist Church, assisting.
Mr. Coy, who lived at 310 E. Sixth Street, died early Tuesday morning in the Littlefield Hospital following a heart attack a short time before. He had been in bad health for som time.
Born February 26 [sic], 1887, in Harrison County, Mo., Coy came to Texas from Missouri in 1931. In 1942, he married Berttie Roberson in Panhandle. Mr. Coy, an insurance salesman for 22 years, is well known to most of the people of Hereford. He was greatly loved by all children who knew him.
Survivors include: his wife; two daughters, Thelma Eujen [sic] of Inglewood, Calif., and Edith Stumph of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Herbert G. of Fort Collings [sic], Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Clouse of Grant City, Mo., and Mrs. Elpha King of Mankato, Minn.; three brothers, Charlie of Des Moines, Ia., Jim of Grant City, Mo., and George of New Richland, Minn.; and 4 grandchildren.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililland Funeral Home.
