E.W. "Dub" Curtsinger, 81, of Hereford, died Friday in Hereford.

Services were held Monday afternoon in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with burial in West Park Cemetery. Officiating were the Rev. Jim Bozeman, retired Baptist minister, and Doug Strange of Carlsbad, N.M., Church of Christ minister.

Mr. Curtsinger, a native of Hereford, married Wilma Smith in 1936 in Hereford. He was a rancher and dry cleaner. Mr. Curtsinger was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Jim Curtsinger of Lubbock and Jerry Curtsinger of Stafford, Va.; a brother, R.E. "Buddy" Curtsinger of Hereford; two sisters, June Calloway Boyd of Amarillo and Mildred Jasper of Dallas, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The family has requested that memorials be directed to Hereford Senior Citizens.

Services for Wilma Curtsinger, 82, formerly of Hereford are pending with Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Curtsinger died Monday at the Lubbock Hospitality House.

She was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Hereford to Guy Smith and Ada Cassels. She married E.W. "Dub" Curtsinger on April 4, 1936, in Hereford. She was a Baptist, a homemaker and a co-owner of a dry-cleaners.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Curtsinger of Lubbock, and Jerry Curtsinger of Stafford, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1994.

Services for Wilma Curtsinger, 82, formerly of Hereford will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with Rev. H.W. Bartlett, Pastor of Temple Baptist Church officiaiting. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
