Martin Silva Diaz, 52, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Angel Funeral Home Chapel of Angels, 2209 S. Arthur St., with Deacon Hector Gallegos officiating. Burial will be at noon in West Park Cemetery in Hereford.

Mr. Diaz had lived in the community since 1972, moving from California. He loved to participate with the Low Riders and he brought them here. He was very proud of his cars, and was also a biker. He loved to dance every weekend. At one time, Mr. Diaz was an ambulance driver, of which he was very proud. He was a very good painter and was proud to be called "El Pintor," just like the song that he loved.

He was a Dad full of fun, and we loved him very much. He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Diaz Sr.; and two brothers, Juan Diaz and Lionel Diaz.

Survivors include three sons, Tony Diaz, Chris Diaz and Paul Diaz, all of Amarillo; a sister, Gloria Diaz of Lubbock; two brothers, David Diaz of Hereford and Ruben Diaz of Harlingen; his mother, Hortencia Silva Diaz of Amarillo; and six grandchildren.
