Funeral Services for Patsy Sanders, 78, of Midland and formerly of Ransom Canyon will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 in Englunds Chapel with interment in Englewood Cemetery and under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service in Slaton.
Patsy was born October 11, 1929 in Belton, Texas. Pat had lived in Albany and Anson and graduated from Anson High School in 1947. She also graduated from McMurry College with a degree in education. She was an elementary teacher in Loraine, Rotan, Throckmorton, Borger, DeLeon, Abilene and Roosevelt school where she retired in 1988.
She was a member of Gamma Sigma and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Pat married Marvin Sanders on March 24, 1951 in Anson and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2007. A son James "Kirk" Sanders also preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1989.
Her survivors include her son; Michael Lee Sanders of Dripping Springs and daughter, Christine Petty of Midland, sisters; Mary Lee Headstream of Abilene and Anne Steel, Tomball and four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
