HEREFORD - James N. Edmonson Jr., 72, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in West Park Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Cosby, pastor of First Baptist Church of Hereford, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Edmonson was born in Plainview and moved to Hereford in 1928 where he attended schools. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and then was in the retail furniture business. He worked for Hereford Truck Line and Armour and Company and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He married Lonidene Martin in 1944 at San Diego.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Obremsky of Arlington and Cheryl Lawrence of Duncanville, and two grandsons.
