Funeral services for Benjamine [sic] Franklin Fulkerson, past resident of Hereford, were held Monday afternoon in Roswell, N.M., with Rev. Anderson of Roswell conducting the service.

After an illness of some time, Mr. Fulkerson died Sunday morning, August 8, in the hospital in Roswell.

Fulkerson was born in Grunby [sic] County, Mo., where he lived until he came to Hereford in 1906. In 1934, he moved to Roswell where he has lived since.

He was married to Miss Martha Funk who died in 1931 and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Graveside rites were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Gililland Funeral Home.

Survivors include: one son, B.R. Fulkerson of Roswell; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Mitchell of Garden Grove, Iowa and Miss Amanda Fulkerson of Edinburg, Mo.; two brothers, P.R. Fulkerson of Stark City, Mo. and John Fulkerson of Glendale, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
