HEREFORD--Romie Fults, 88, died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, at Hereford Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with Doug Manning, worship leader of Fellowship of Believers Church, Hereford, officiating. Interment will be in West Park Cemetery.

Mr. Fults was born May 25, 1908, in Hunt County, a son of Thomas Alvin and Josie Dearmon Fults. He married Inez West Dec. 12, 1928 in Ladonia.

The family moved to Hereford in 1963 from the Acuff community, then moved to Colorado and returned to Hereford in 1986.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Harold Fults of Hereford, Robert T. Fults of Pattonville and Bennie Ray Fults of Dumas; two daughters, Belle Vinson of Floydada and Mary Miller of Midland; one brother, Ray Fults of Commerce; two sisters, Eunice Ellard and Eulalia Sandels, both of Ladonia; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Mike Vinson, Mark Vinson, Alvin Fults, Paul Hamilton, Jimmy Miller, Emory Gilly, Coy House and Roger Hamilton.
