Gamboa funeral services is held here Wednesday
Funeral services for Bernardino S. Gamboa, 58, of 305 Ave. A, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Lee Montemayor, pastor, officiating. Burial was in West Park Cemetery directed by Gililland Funeral Home.
Mr. Gamboa, a resident of Hereford since 1961, died in Dimmitt hospital Monday after a long illness.
He was a native Texan, born April 21, 1913 at San Benito, and married Albine [sic] Sarbia in 1933. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
His wife survives him, with five daughters, Leticia and Beatriz Gamboa of Hereford, Margaret Rivera of Sanderson, Yolanda Garza and Alice Garza who reside in Louisiana; three sons, Fred, Jaime and Wally of Hereford; and 31 grandchildren.
