The family of Fred Gomez, Jr. will gather to recite the Holy Rosary at 7 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mass will be celebrated in honor of Fred's life of 75 years at 11 am on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at St. James Catholic Church in Seminole, Texas. On March 28, 1946, Fred, Jr. was born to Fred and Carolina Gomez in Bronte, Texas. He married Gloria Alvarado on November 2, 1966, at St. James Catholic Church in Seminole, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Gomez; their children, Sandra (Joe) Gonzales, Betty (Bill) Martinez, and David Gomez; grandchildren, David Gomez, Gabby Gomez, Jonathan Gonzales, Xavier Gonzales, Jordan Martinez; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Gonzales, Karter Gonzales, Mia Gonzales, Maximiliano Gonzales, Naomi Martinez, Santiago Martinez; siblings, Eddie (Lupita) Gomez, Albert (Rosie) Flores; Elodia Almaguer, and Mary Jane (Ysidro) Lopez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Carolina Gomez.
