HEREFORD - Armando Garza Sr., 54, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, in Amarillo.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Deacon Jerry Duenes, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Garza was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Hollis, Okla., to Torivio and Gregoria Ramos Garza. He married Julia Garcia in 1972 in Hereford.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Manuel Garza, Armando Garza Jr. and Julian Garza, all of Hereford; five brothers, Lupe Irlas of Selma, Calif., Natividad Garza of New Braunfels, Francisco Garza of Dallas, Cecilio Garza of Hereford and Cresensio Garza of Idaho; four sisters, Juanita Hernandez of San Juan, Marianita Salinas of Minnesota, Elvira Gonzalez of Houston and Imelda Rios of Dimmitt; and six grandchildren.
