Isidra Garza
May 15, 1936 - December 27, 2014

Isidra Reyna Garza, 78, of Roswell, New Mexico, formerly of Hereford, TX, passed away on December 27, 2014 in rural Roswell, New Mexico.

A Prayer Service is scheduled for 6:30 pm, Friday, January 2nd, 2015 in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 10:00am, Saturday, January 3, 2015, in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. 6th Street.

Isidra was born to Asencion and Elvira Reyna on May 15, 1936 in San Antonio, TX. She was a hard worker and very independent woman. She was a very family oriented person and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Isidra also loved bingo, music and dancing.

Isidra was preceded in death by her parents; 3 children; and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her ex-husband Abel Garza, and her long-time partner Jesús Portillo; 3 sons, Martin Garza and Marco Antonio Garza of Amarillo, Elias Garza of Hereford; 1 daughter, Esmeralda Ferreira of Amarillo; 1 brother, Juan Reyna of Austin; 4 sisters, Consuelo Medellin of San Antonio, Angelina Torres of Lubbock, Olga Mesa of Mathis, Audelia Sanchez of Amarillo; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
