Mrs. D. Gideon Dies Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene M. Gideon, wife of D.S. Gideon, were to have been held Thursday morning at 10:30 from the First Baptist church of this city. Interment was to have been made in West Park Cemetery. Rev. B.M. Shepherd, pastor of the First Baptist church, was to officiate, according to arrangements late Wednesday.
Mrs. Gideon had been ill for several weeks and died of heart trouble Tuesday night, December 22. Her husband is an employee in the section crew of the Santa Fe railroad here.
Mrs. Gideon was bon July 27, 1903, at Moody, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pedigo. She came to Deaf Smith county with her husband in 1925.
The deceased is survived by three children, Dorothy, Winona and George, and her husband, all residing here. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pedigo, live at Oglesby, Texas. She is also survived by a number of brothers and sisters: Lowe, Henry and Frank Pedigo, of Moody; Mamy Bushing and Christal Witt of Moody, Nora Rayborn of Eddy, Texas; Lucy Jackson of Breckenridge, and Evelyn Shirey of Pampa.
