*Obituary
Robert Leonard Goodloe, aged 38, who lived northeast of Hereford, died September 10 and was buried in the Hereford cemetery Friday, September 11, following services at the Presbyterian church. Rev. J.T. Ross of the Presbyterian church officiated, assisted by Rev. Haymes of the Methodist church and Rev. Morgan of the Christian church. Services at the grave were in charge of the local I.O.O.F. Lodge.

Mr. Goodloe was born in Savannah, Mo., and came to Texas with his father in 1906. He was married to Miss Iva Clifton at Sumerfield in 1909. Six children were born of this union, of which five survive. Besides his wife and children he leaves three brothers, Elmore L. Goodloe of Kansas City, Marvin E. Goodloe of Trenton, Mo., and W. Lloyd Goodloe of Bryan, Tex.

Mrs. R.L. Goodloe, whose husband died on September 10, announces a Public Sale of her land, live stock, farm machinery and household goods, the date being Wednesday, September 28, at her place thirteen miles north of Hereford and one half mile east of Progressive avenue. Besides 320 acres of good farm land, at private treaty, the sale offers nine head of horses, 44 head of cows and heifers, eight head of registered Hereford cattle, seventeen head of purebred Duroc Jersey hogs, and a big list of machinery, etc. Ray Barber is auctioneer, and J.S. Jones clerk.
