Kim Spicer Gripp, 36, of Hereford died Sunday, Oct. 7, 1990.
Services were held at 4 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Steve McElroy officiating. Burial was in Restlawn Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Gripp was born in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School. He married Kim Freeman in 1986 at Panhandle. He moved to Pilot Point in 1987. He was a member of the RCA Rodeo Association and had won two National Finals awards for calf roping in 1976 and 1977 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Amarillo; a son, James Gripp of Midland; two daughters, Ky Gripp and Keili Gripp, both of Amarillo; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Spicer Gripp of Hereford; a sister, Nancy Stokes of Amarillo; and his grandmother, Mary Gripp of Friona.
