Tresa Hale, 87, of Hereford died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at her residence. Justice of the Peace Johnnie Turrentine ruled natural causes in the death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Stotts, associate pastor, officiating. The Rev. Bruce Kochsmeier, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will assist. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hale was born in Lella [sic] Lake and moved from Dalhart to Hereford in 1956. She married Emmett Hale on April 12, 1928, in Abilene. She was a honemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Joe Brownds of Clarendon; a sister, Thelma Parks of Fontana, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
