HEREFORD - Elmo "Tuff" Hall, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010.
Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Church of the Nazarene in Hereford with the Rev. Ted Taylor and the Rev. Guy Walker officiating. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Elmo was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Floydada to Tom and Mintie Hall. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Kay Norman, the love of his life, on Nov. 2, 1952, in Lockney. He retired in 2007 after being a lifelong cattle farmer and owner of Circle Three Feedyard. Elmo was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Hereford. He has been a member of the Hereford community for the past 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mintie Hall; and a brother, G.V. "Geke" Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Hall; two sons, Scott Hall and wife Lori of Hereford and Don Hall and wife Tyna of Stillwater, Okla.: two daughters, Kerry Glidwell and husband Bill of Hereford and Rhonda Nieman and husband Steve of Shallowater; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Church of the Nazarene, 1410 LaPlata, Hereford, TX. 79045; or Hereford Senior Citizens, 426 Ranger St., Hereford, TX. 79045.
