Mary Jane Hamby, 69, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 in Amarillo.

Celebration of Life services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Hereford with Kyle Streun, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.

Mary Jane was born Dec. 5, 1938, to Hubert Grant and Mary Etta White in Hereford. She was the manager at Moovies 6 Theater since its original opening in 1997. She was a manicurist at Billie's Beauty Shop for many years.

Mary Jane was an avid Whiteface and Cowboys football fan and a sports fan of all Hereford athletics. She was active in the Camp Fire organization for many years, a supporter of the Cancer Relay for Life and a member of the Red Hat Darlins of Hereford.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Schuder.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Richardson and husband Michael; two sons, Scott Hamby, Kevin Hamby and wife Stacy, all of Amarillo; a brother; Melton White of Logan, N.M., four grandsons, Jared and Josh Richardson, Jeremy and Hunter Hamby, all of Amarillo; many nieces, nephews and loving friends, all of whom will miss Mary Jane dearly.
